Problem:
The AI-Agent pulled from a tons of different mismatched components, leading to a fragmented UX and what looked like a patchwork quilt of different UI styles.
Opportunity:
I built a cohesive component library for our AI-Agent to pull from so the UI was consistent across all generated projects.  
Approach:
1. Researched various established design systems.
2. Designed 300+ flexible UI components.
3. Iterated on designs, balancing standard patterns with unique elements.
4. Focused on creating a cohesive and adaptable design framework.

What I learned:
Designing something generic & universal while also being consistent and unique enought to set you apart from other design systems or component libraries is, in my experience, much harder than design something very stylized and specific. By the outcome is worth it when the Agent started created consisten UI's.

hey, i'm jack :)
I'm a product designer. I used to work in commercial real estate (odd, I know). I needed a change so I went online and taught myself product design. And that’s how I got here:) (there’s more to the story but thats the TLDR)

Something else you should know about me is that I s-s-s-stutter - I know what it feels like to be a walking (t-t-talking) edge case. I care about the little things, the little guys, and the forgotten user groups.

When I'm not designing, you can find me spending time with my daughter and my partner, surfing, or drawing.
